Then Samson prayed to the LORD, “Sovereign LORD, remember me again. O God, please strengthen me just one more time. With one blow let me pay back the Philistines for the loss of my two eyes.” (Judges 16:28 NLT)
Samson was as low as he could be. He had broken promises made to God and failed miserably. He never lived up to his potential. He was hopeless. But God is a God who hears prayers and always keeps his promises.
Today you may find yourself low–living with the consequences of your failures and broken promises, but you can pray to the God who hears his children and restores. He keeps his promises for his glory.
So why not pray to God today in your brokenness and let him lift you up?
